JavaScript Job: Web Designer

About Us

Accuenergy is looking for an exceptional Web Designer to help expand our marketing team growth strategy. Candidates should be well-rounded with primary experience in web and print design.

This role is to assist the Marketing Manager in the implementation of the company’s brand strategy along with assisting other cross-functional teams. Ensure all marketing assets serve to achieve immediate or long-term business goals; identify and execute improvements to any process, content, and lead generation.

Candidates must provide online portfolio to be considered for the role.

Responsibilities

• Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, & Adobe InDesign

• Experienced creating designs for digital & print

• Able to build webpages from mockups

• Work experience designing webpage mock-ups, social media banners, email templates

• Understand how to shoot product photography an asset

• Must have experience retouching images

• Know how to optimize images for the web

• Must have work experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WordPress

• Other general duties as required

Strongly Recommended Skills

• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

• Ability to manage and prioritize several projects in an on-going basis

• Positive and confidence attitude with a flair for detail and organization

Must-Have Experience

• 2 years Photoshop work experience

• 2 years HTML, CSS work experience

• A university degree or college diploma in web design, or digital media

• 2 years of relevant web designer experience
